Pismo Beach

Next on to Pismo beach the following morning.  Stayed with a friend, Leslie at her parents house in as more countryside setting.  AMAZING big house just overflowing with stuff.  Her parents was awesome and very welcoming.  Much fun.  Up late chatting then had a hearty breakfast of fresh eggs from her chickens!  Went for a drive through farm town to the beach.  Tried some famous clam chowder and then went to the pier to seal watch and sample more fresh fish.  Fun filled day with a late drive home....

San Fransisco

Joey and I went on to drive up to San Fransisco.  A new photographer friend leant us his apartment so we had a lovely place to stay with a pool and view.  Saw a crime scene on our first night though in Oakland.  Welcome to a world of guns. Scary.  Spent the next day exploring san fran... saw the golden gate bridge of course. japan town and china town, the wharf etc.  Photos galore!!

Road trip

 

The three of us, Joey, Anders and I drove up to Vegas for the weekend to meet up with a group of friends.  A beautiful drive through the desert. 

 

We got there at 10pm-ish.  Dinner in Paris (!) at an all-you-can eat of course with a new friend Leyla.  I sadly lost $1000 that night.. and NOT to gambling. haha.  I think I will change this story to say I put $1000 on red, and lost.  Would sound much more bad ass....  but no.  I actually lost it. Anyways.. Lots of eating, staying up late and exploring.  We stayed at the most incredible suite in Planet Hollywood with pool tables and a stripper pole/ shower room in the living room!!  About 10 people stayed in there just fine!

USA life begins...

LA Fabulous begins!  Here's my 6 week update!

A lot has happened of course.  Moving to a new country is always stressy but still fun.  I was staying with a friend, Anders,  2 blocks from the beach in santa monica for the first month.  Amazing.  However, I felt I must have become a slight burden as we shared his little studio, but we are still friends so thats a positive!  Getting used to the food changes here... lots more fast food than I'm used to... and a plethora of corn syrup. Somewhat frightening but there's lots of healthy organic places too here.  Whole foods is my fav!

Joey's Brithday was on the 15th and we surprised him with boyband karaoke!Hence the white Tshirts!
